Adding s to make a word plural
If the word ends in ch sh o x s z add an 'es'
If the word ends in consonant then y, drop the ‘y’ and add ‘ies’
If the word ends in f or fe, replace the ‘f’ or ‘fe’ ending with ‘ves’
