It's a long weekend

Though it has been rather cold this week, the signs of spring are finally starting to appear. The apple blossom is just opening and all of the trees around school are now in leaf. Our school always looks amazing when everything is green, the surrounding countryside seems more apparent. The children have started to notice and enjoy this too – at playtimes there are always daisy-chain-constructions, exploration of blossom and buds and just lots of groups sitting together on the grass!
