New things and experiences

One of our vision aims is to ‘open your mind’, meaning to try new things and experiences. This has been true of Maggie, our school dog, as this week I have introduced her to new situations and ways to meet those children who would like to. During a wet play on Tuesday I took her into the entrance of each class where children could say hello and give her a stroke. She coped perfectly and enjoyed the attention! Today, she joined assembly for the first time and helped to give out our Maggie - Vision and Value certificate. She remained calm and focussed and everyone even sang happy birthday to her, albeit in a whisper, as she is 2 today!
