Welcome to our new Year R families! Our new children have had a brilliant first proper week of school and are already growing in confidence. Well done to: Wilf, Dexter, Nicholas, Ella, Josiah, George, Angus, Bonnie, Archie, Fiadh, Celia, Britney, Jude, Atticus and Jack who are now part of our school family! Well done too, to our Class 4 buddies who have, without exception, been brilliant this week and really helped their younger buddies settle and feel comfortable.
Since this is the first newsletter for our new families, I will explain how they ‘work’; a good reminder too for everyone else. They come out every Friday so you can expect to receive, if you miss one you know you will have missed information – just contact the office for a copy or find on the website. I deliberately use boxes so it’s easy to scan. It isn’t normally as long as today’s, mostly just one page so you can check if anything applies. The red boxes are highlighted and are more urgent, important or happening next week. In the bottom left is a box detailing any communication sent so you can work out if you’ve missed something. I use the Newsletter as our prime means of communication to flag up important news, give reminders about things happening next week, share dates and hopefully share a bit about what’s going on in school. If you take the time to read or even just scan the newsletter you can’t miss anything happening in school or ever say ‘I didn’t know about it’ having missed an event!
