This week we had a wonderful drama experience from the company 'Perform'. The children had to act and work well in groups to tell a story based on under the sea. The children also thought about how to clean the seas and oceans and that we must make sure no litter is left on the beaches after we have been there. Lots of the children talked about how we must look after out planet and it was wonderful to see them thinking deeply about the environment.

On Thursday 21st November Class 2 were excited and thrilled to see the snowy weather appear as they came into school. There was lots of excitement as we got out in the wintery weather and experienced making small snowmen, describing the snow as it fell, learning more about the season of Winter and learning that snow is frozen water.  The children were interested to find out about other countries that have lots of snow such as Alaska and Canada. We looked at several images from these places in the world and the children were keen to describe icicles.

It was wonderful to see the awe and wonder in their faces as the powdery snowflakes started to settle on the ground and onto their coats. It was a thrilling morning as we don't often have snow in Hampshire! It was a shame that it melted so quickly but it was enjoyed by everyone whilst it lasted!
