Good morning Class 3

It is the start of another week of home learning. Our topic theme for this week is Tutankhamun. You will be learning a little about who he was and finding out about the discovery of his tomb by an archaeologist called Howard Carter. 

It was nice to have a long weekend especially as it was so warm and sunny on Friday and Saturday.

I watched some of the VE day programs on Friday had a barbecue in the afternoon. Did you and your family do anything special for the bank holiday? 

I went for a lovely walk with Megan on Saturday morning and met a few different people I know including Mrs Lambert and her husband on their bikes. Later I saw Mrs Miller and her family off on their bikes too.  

Today I will be in school with Mrs Sothcott. I haven't seen her for several weeks so it will be nice to chat to her.

Message from Mrs Lambert 

Good morning Class 3! 🙋‍♀️
I hope you all had a lovely long weekend. Mr Lambert, Emma and I all joined our neighbours on our front lawns on Friday to celebrate VE Day. It was a lovely warm sunny afternoon so we stayed out for a while chatting at a distance. 
On Saturday, Mr Lambert and I did a bike ride and bumped in to Mrs Bird so we stopped for a quick chat which was nice. 
🧩 Puzzle update - I finished the first of the 500 piece puzzles on Saturday. There were 16 pieces missing! I wonder if you can spot the missing pieces in the photo. Today I will start the next one of Tenby Harbour.
