we had a lovely Harvest Festival in church this morning. There were songs, prayers and some teaching from Year 5 and 6 children. SO many of them volunteered to be involved this morning and shared words about what harvest means to them, why they want to support our local food bank and also how this follows Jesus’ example of recognising people in need and offering help where you can, as shown by the miracle of Feeding the Five Thousand.
Thank you to all of you for the gifts of food you sent children in with. It was really obvious that so many of you had read Zoe & Riley’s letter on last week’s Newsletter and tried to give things Meon Valley Food Bank really need.
