Play Dragon's Den on Phonics Play to practise the "th" words from yesterday. Select any phase from the menu and then "Enter your own words". On the true side, input then, this, that, then, them and on the false side put any short made up word.

Now have a go at the "or" powerpoint activity below. It is a mix of reading "or" words and writing "or" words. Make sure you have the digraph "or" written at the top of your paper for you to copy into each of your words. I have actually narrated over the top of the powerpoint so, if you are working on a pc, make sure you press the slideshow button so you can hear that too. Also, below the powerpoint is another video where I segment each of the words you have to write using the cued articulation signs. No need to watch this if you are confidently hearing all the sounds without the need for signs.

Making a true/false game
Yesterday we played the true/false game by reading words and looking at the pictures on the screen. Today we are going to start making our own true/false game so that you can play it with people in your family. We will make one clue sheet each day this week. Watch the video below to find out more.

Today we are looking at how to measure lengths by lining up small identical items such as paper clips or pasta shapes and then counting how many there are next to playdough worms. Make sure to click on the "get the activity" slide to the side of the video which includes all the vocabulary we are concentrating on too. Have fun rolling worms! We are on Growing 6,7,8 Week 3, Session 2. To challenge yourself a little more, can you make thick worms, medium words and thin worms all the same length - it's trickier than it sounds?!!
So today we are looking at putting a new story together and really concentrating on describing the dragon. There's a little rhyme that you can practise which helps to say what she is like. Listen to Adam tell the brand new story (it's really good) and then you are going to draw the part of the story that you liked the best.
