A message to you

Good morning Class 3,

It is looking a bit grey as I look outside this morning, but the weather forecast promises sunshine so let's hope it is correct! I am looking forward to hearing from you today, I hope you enjoy making your River Nile fact pages.

When I got home from school yesterday, I had to check my last emails. Bosun was not impressed with me going on my computer. He thought I should be feeding him and giving him attention so he sat on my laptop and refused to move as you can see in the picture below. Do you have any naughty pets like Bosun!? I also had the horrible job of clearing up after one of the cats who had been sick on the sofa in my study this morning. Not fun surprise

Next week your DT task is to make a mummified orange. I hope you will be able to get the things you need for this. I though I would put the list up today, in case you need to get any of these things when you are shopping. I am sure you could use different spices, whatever you have in your cupboard which are similar to cloves and cinnamon (not something like chilli obviously!!)

Materials Required

  • An orange
  • Salt
  • Bicarbonate of Soda
  • Small roll of crepe bandage
  • Knife
  • Teaspoon
  • Cloves
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Two bowls
  • Kitchen towel or toilet roll

Have a good day today! Then enjoy the weekend.

Love from Mrs Bird xx

Hello Class 3 🙋‍♀️
Yesterday, some of you completed the RE work I set, which looked fabulous. I hope to see more of you emailing your excellent work in today!

Again I managed to get a cycle in before the rain. Today looks drier so a nice long walk for the two dogs is planned.
🧩 Puzzle update- Sadly Hope was busy with her art yesterday so I couldn’t get started with the Titanic. You need a lot of room to start a puzzle as you need to spread the pieces out and have room to start constructing it. I should get going today and over the weekend so see how I’ve got on on Monday.
Love from Mrs Lambert xx
