Morning message

Good morning Class 3,

I hope you have had a lovely weekend! We have all made it to the final week of this half term. We have 5 more days of learning with the half term break look forward to! I am sure,  after all the hard work you have been doing, most of you are really looking forward to a week off!!

It has got very chilly now and as I am writing this, there are a few little flakes of snow fluttering down but not the white scene I was hoping for this morning !
On Saturday morning, it was so foggy. I went for my run and managed 4 miles. After returning, the sun began to burn through and it became a beautiful sunny afternoon..

Yesterday seemed to get colder as the day went on! I met with one of my friends and we went on a long circular walk all around Durley. We both wrapped up warm and there were a few tiny flakes of snow, but we were both disappointed that there wasn’t more!! I have added a few pictures from my walk.
My weekend ended with a delicious Sunday roast cooked by Mr Bird.
Today and tomorrow, I will be in school both days. We will be continuing our work on telling the time in maths, I have made a few videos to help you but you don’t need to watch them all! Think about what you can do and what you need to work on and practice.
This week, you will be starting a mini project to research an aspect of Roman life which you are interested in. I hope you will all be happy to share your work with the class on Thursday morning. I look forward to hearing all about what you have learnt then.

Today is the first day of a week long skipping challenge. I have saved the instructions and recording sheet for you below. There is also the Physical challenge and don't forget it is PE with Joe at 9am this morning. It will be a busy day if you manage to fit in all of these activities! Do you best!
Have a great day.
Love from Mrs Bird xx
