Whole Class Story
I will be live in our Class 2 Google Classroom at 2pm to read you all a story. You should have received a Parent Mail from Mr Woolley explaining about Google Classroom. There is an information sheet attached to the Parent Mail which is a step-by-step guide for how to log on. When you log on, you will need to click on Class 2, rather than your coloured reading group. I hope you can join me! Please join with your microphones turned off.

Yesterday, you started writing the story of Hansel and Gretel. How did you get on? Which part of the story did you get up to? Today we are going to edit our work from yesterday and then write a little bit more. Remember, you can use a green or another coloured pen for your editing.
I would like you to think about the following things when you are editing:
1. Have you remembered a full stop at the end of each sentence?
2. Have you remembered a capital letter at the beginning of each new sentence?
3. Have you remembered capital letters for the names of people?
4. Have you used your tricky word mat and sound mat to help you spell words correctly?
5. Did you use the picture prompts to help you remember each part of the story?

Reading
Log onto Bug Club and choose a book to read for at least 15 minutes. Please let us know if you need us to add some more books to your Bug Club account. Remember, to win the gold coins on Bug Club, you have to click on the bug heads and answer the comprehension questions as you read the book. You could read one of your books from home if you prefer.
