Performance Data

We are required to publish our most recent exam and assessment results for key stage 2 (Year 6). Please find attached below a summary document for Year 6 2022 results but also other results from across the school where there are statutory assessments.

These results have been achieved not through preparation for the tests but through strong learning across the curriculum throughout the school. As these children have enjoyed topic learning across the whole curriculum (eg History, Art, music, PE, Science, residential visits, sporting competitions etc) and it is as a direct result of this deep learning that Year 6 in particular were able to apply their knowledge and understanding to the occasion of formal testing, when it occurred.

A good indication of our high expectations and also high achievements of children is demonstrated by the Year 4 results in the multiplication screening tests in 2022. The results were so high, it put us in the top 200 schools across the country, as this congratulatory letter from the Minister for Schools, Nick Gibb, describes:

Due to the COVID school closure between March and July 2020 and the further implications across the 2020/2021 academic year, the DfE cancelled all primary statutory assessments and associated reporting for 2020 and 2021. There is therefore no data for these years and the most recent performance data prior to 2022, relates to the academic year ending in July 2019. A summary of this pre-COVID data is shown below:
