Then I would like you to think about your local area. What positive and negative effects of human actions can you think of?

Are there many people cycling and walking rather than driving? 

Is there any evidence that people are growing their own fruit and vegetables in your local area? Are there any allotments?

Do you think people are recycling in your area? How do you know? 

Is there a problem with litter in your local area. If you can, take a short walk and carry out a survey of the litter you find. How do you think people can be persuaded not to drop litter?
