Morning message

Good morning Class 3,

It was lovely to see most of you yesterday on Google Classroom! I am so impressed with how good you are at using the technology ( and I am pleased with my progress with this too 😆). Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas. Well done!!

Today I am going to do another short Google Classroom session to play times tables bingo. I will do 2 separate sessions, one with Year 4 at 9:45 and one with Year 3 at 10:15. See you then!

I have been doing a lot of walking recently, so I decided to treat myself to some smart new walking boots which arrived today! They came with a lucky dip free gift which was some pink, wool socks. I had to go for a walk to try them out, so Mr Bird and I took a really nice walk across the golf course near my house and through the woods. We were very lucky to see several deer which kept running off and then we’d come across them again. We also discovered several badger sets. Finley had found some earlier in the week too.
It was a beautiful sunset too so I got a few good pictures of the view.
As usual, it was a very muddy walk so my brand new boots didn’t look so smart when I got home!!

I expect you have heard the sad news about Captain Sir Tom Moore who died at the age of 100 on Tuesday. He was an inspirational man and did an amazing amount of fund raising to support the NHS. I joined people around the country at 6pm yesterday evening to clap for him and all the NHS workers. I wonder if any of you joined in with the clapping.

I hope to see you in the Google classroom meeting soon !
Love from Mrs Bird x

Clap for Captain Sir Tom
