Don't forget your coat.....just in case

A wild week, weather wise – cold winds, hail and showers with spells of warm sunshine in between. Most of us have been cloud watching all week, hoping the looming dark clouds on the horizon miss us – and in the most part they have, the children have continued to play outside. It is a reminder though that children do need to be prepared for all weathers at the moment. We are not yet in the warm predictability of the summer; children will still need layers when there is a chilly breeze or rain forecast. We try to keep the children outside as much as we can to promote high physical activity. It is fine to stay outside in light rain, especially if it is just a shower, only heavier rain or strong winds will force us to come inside for a wet play.
