Fond Farewells

The last two days have definitely been about our leaving year 6s. Their Leavers service yesterday was wonderful, some lovely memories and messages and their rewritten word to the song 7 years (by Lukas Graham) to become ‘Five Years Old’ was reflective, funny and moving. Today after school their final act will be ringing the bell at the front of the school. This most symbolic act marks their leaving but this isn’t a sad moment; the children have taken everything they need from us and are ready to move on in the world and start the next exciting chapter of their lives. All of our love goes with them – good luck in all you do to Lydia, Darci, Felicity, Aithan, Honour, Monty, Harvey, George, Eva, Leila, Sofia, Caleb, Joseph B & Joseph G.
