Saturday 11th April

Hi Class Four, it's very weird writing this message because we've been told that we won't be able to access the school website on Saturday because they are doing some technical work on it, so it's now actually Friday night!

I've had another busy day - dog walk, run round Lakeside, PE with Joe (loved his frog costume, but he must have been so hot!), stretch whilst listening to Mrs Soley's bedtime story and then spent nearly the whole day working on the kitchen worktops. I didn't realise how much work was involved in oiling worktops! But they look so much better now. This evening I have cooked a nice cottage pie for my dinner and baked some rice cripsy cakes.

Hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend - don't forget to send an email to let me know how your week has been.

Love Miss Olver x

Activity 1

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Perhaps you could plan an Easter egg hunt for your family to do? It could be as simple as hiding some eggs in the garden, or you could make it more like a treasure hunt with some clues. The website below has some good ideas on you might want to include.

Activity 2

As you might know, I am not much of a baker (unlike Mrs Soley!). Yesterday I made some chocolate rice crispy cakes. I love making these and they are so easy that I know they won't go wrong, and they always taste good. You could try making them at home. You can use cornflakes or rice cripsies.
