Wednesday 8th April

Happy Wednesday Class Four!

What a beautiful day it was yesterday! I managed to pick up some more fence paint from B and Q on my way home from school on Monday, so continued with the fence painting in the sunshine yesterday. It's getting there. I had a lovely mint choc chip cornetto in the afternoon for my break, I love ice cream.

My Mum sent me a little package in the post this week. It was a journal. I've been phoning my Mum every day since we've been stuck at home and have been telling her about the tasks I've been setting you. She thought the diary/journal idea was really good and so ordered me one as a surprise! It's a bit unusual as it has space to make lists and some nice mindful activities, such as drawing, colouring, wordsearches... I enjoyed sitting down and doing the Wordsearch on Monday evening so thought I'd put one up for you today, last night I did some colouring. It was very restful. I hope you are enjoying doing your diary/journal still? It's a lovely way to reflect on what you've been doing during the week and how you are feeling.

Have a great day. Don't forget to email us any photos of nice things you make/do, Mrs Soley and I love receiving emails from you smiley

Here is a message from Mrs Soley:

Hello Class 4,

I hope you are enjoying your first week of the Easter holidays.  I am looking forward to hearing about what you have been doing with your families.  I am continuing to do some decorating in my house, it's slow but steady and it's good to have the time to do it.  As you can see from the photos, I have been doing a bit more cooking.  I think it's only fair if I ask you to try a recipe that I also try it.  This was our lunch today, cheat's lasagne.  We both enjoyed it very much and might try it again with different ingredients.  My last photo shows my grandson Jacob wearing something Hannah's friend bought him for Easter.  It is very cute and has a little white tail which you can't see and happens to be my favourite part of the outfit.

I will be cooking again later this week, the mini quiches this time.  I am looking forward to trying them.

For now, stay safe and well.

Lots of Love
