So today we are exploring how we can use 9 or 10 dots in different formations to form part of a picture. Watch Miss Cooper's maths lesson and then have a look at the short video below to see how one person used different amounts of dots in different ways to make different pictures and then think about how you could make different pictures that were based around 10 dots. Have fun with that. We are watching Building 9 & 10, Week 1, Session 4. Please send over the black dot picture so that I can see how you have got on but also we can share your picture (if you want) with each other on line.
Today we are going to practise the letter f. This is quite tricky as you have to remember to go up and curl before you come down in a straight line and then curl again in the other direction at the bottom. So we have to go up and down the flowera nd then across the leaves. Try a line and then try filling in the 3 gaps. Then try the second line and see if you can fill in those 3 gaps too. You need to print off page 18.
Today we are going to have a go at writing about the 3 little pigs. Download the second page of the 3 Little Pigs writing activity which has the 4 pictures on it, and have a think about what you could write about the first picture. You might say this pig built his house of straw, or this pig's house of straw was blown down or whatever you think. There are some spellings at the top of the sheet that might help you and just use your sounds to help you write the other words. Then, see if you can write something about the second picture too. We will finish off the other 2 pictures tomorrow. Watch Mrs Mason introduce the activity below.
