PE
Remember to have another go at this week's skipping challenge. You might start to notice an improvement now as you've been practising each day! Record your score on the tracker.
Today's PE challenge involves playing the bean game! I used to love this game when I was at school. If you have siblings at home with you, see if you can get them to join in too.
Maths
It's Wednesday today, which means Times Tables Tests. Click on the link below to find the times tables test you need (if you're not sure, send me an e-mail and I'll remind you which one you are on).We normally have about 5-6 minutes for this in class as the grids have lots of questions on! Once you have finished, click the answers link and then you will be able to mark it - let me know how you get on so I can update my tracker. Good luck!
As I said in the video, I want you to work out what the first 12 cubed numbers are. Try to set out your work in the same way I did on the video:
13 = 1x1x1 = 1
23 = 2x2x2 = ?
You will probably need to use both the short and long written multiplication methods to help you work out the answers!
I've attached my workings and answers below so you can check your work.
RE
This is the last lesson of RE for this half term and it is the last lesson on this RE unit of work.
First, read through the Powerpoint to remind yourself about the learning we have done.
*I've also uploaded it as a PDF in case you are having problems accessing Powerpoints at home.*
1.30pm Live Topic on Google Classroom
At 1.30pm, join me and Mrs Soley on Google Classroom for a live topic session. We have nearly reached the end of our Mayan Civilisation topic, so we thought it would be really fun to do a topic quiz to see how much you can remember from our topic so far!
All you need is a paper and pen/pencil and make sure your brain is switched on!
See you at 1.30pm!
*If you miss this session, I'll share the quiz questions and answers on tomorrow's page so you can still have a go!*
Art
Yesterday, you learnt all about Mayan writing - how they wrote using heiroglyphs and recorded these in the form of a codex.
Today, you will be creating your own Mayan codex. Read through the instructions below and use the heiroglyph sheet to choose which symbols you will include in your message!
