Good Morning Class 2!
I think it is going to be a very sunny day today. Are you going to spend some time outside? Maybe you could find a nice shady spot to do your reading job this afternoon.
We have been so impressed with all of the learning you are emailing us. We have sent some learning certificates in the post to say a big well done to those of you who we know are working really hard. Keep up the hard work and maybe you will get one soon!

Today you will be editing and improving your advertisement.
Such an expensive painting will need a lot of adjectives(describing words) to make it sell. Remember that people often buy art just to show off, sometimes they buy a piece of art which they don't even like to look at. They like the feeling it gives them when someone sees it in their home and admires it, or they can tell their friends how much it cost!!
Include some words and phrases which will make people who want to just show off buy the painting as well.
Choose a book to read for at least 20 minutes. It could be one of your Bug Club books or a book you have at home. Find somewhere comfy and quiet to sit. You might want to read on your own or with a grown up, it's up to you. When you have read for 20 minutes, get a grown up to talk with you about these questions:
1. Why did you choose this book?
2. Who is the author of the book?
3. Is it a fiction or non-fiction book? How do you know?
a) If it is a fiction book: Who is the main character? What happened in the part of the story that you read? What do you think might happen next?
b) If it is a non-fiction book: What is your book about? Which is your favourite page? Tell me 2 facts that you learnt from reading this book.
