Morning message

Good morning everyone,

It was lovely to see so many of you join Google classroom for Times tables bingo yesterday. I really enjoyed it and I hope you did too.

Sienna has made me laugh by sending in some Roman themed jokes. I thought you might like them too!

What do you call a Roman emperor with a cold?

Julius Sneezer!

What do Roman soldiers like to eat?

Sword fish!

How was  the Roman Empire cut in half?

With a pair of Caesars!

How was Caesar so good at drawing straight lines?

He was an ancient ruler!

Knock knock!

Who’s there?

Caesar

Caesar who?

Seize her! She’s getting away!

Today is the day I would like you to share your research about Roman life with the class. I have written an explanation with some screen shots to help you to present your document if you have done it on the computer. Please don't worry if you have written it by hand. That is just as good and you could either put a photograph of this on your screen, or just hold it up to the camera if you prefer. I am really looking forward to hearing all about what you have found out.

The document with the instructions is saved below.

Hope to see you soon,

Love from Mrs Bird xx
