What would you like to be when you grow up? 

Morning job

Collect a variety of things from the house or the garden, choose different shapes, sizes, colours and textures and see what picture you can make from them. You don't need to glue them, just push them together and see what it looks like. Arrange them on the floor, stand back and have a look and see if you like it. 

English

Just handwriting today, no spelling or Mighty Writing because it is half term. 

Maths

How did you get on with the Friday maths challenges last week? I was impressed that some of you attempted more than one challenge! I was also pleased to see that many of you drew pictures or used written strategies to help solve each problem and to show your workings. Below is the link to some more challenges. Remember, Challenges 1 and 2 are for ages 5-7.

If you are in Year 1, have a go at Challenge 1 first and then you could try Challenge 2 as well. 

If you are in Year 2, have a go at Challenges 1 and 2. Then, if you need something even trickier, you could have a go at Challenge 3.
