Good morning everyone,
It is finally the very last day of the school year. What can I say? This is certainly the strangest year of teaching in the 25 or more years I have been doing this job. It is one I will never forget that is for sure. Since the beginning of lockdown, until now there have been many highs and lows. I have missed every one of you at home. I have worried about how you were getting on. However, I am so proud of how hard you have worked. I couldn't be more impressed with your positive attitude and the numerous pieces of fantastic work you have sent me. Thank you to all the parents that have supported the children so well in this challenging time.
I know that you are ready for your next steps, whether it is to return to Class 3 next term or move up to Class 4. If you are leaving our class, thank you for working so hard and being a fantastic year group. I will really miss you. I will make sure I come and see you and catch up in school next term.
If you are returning to Class 3, I really look forward to welcoming you back in September.
All that is left to say is a big WELL DONE and have a fantastic summer holiday,
