Wednesday 8th April

Good morning Class 3,

How are you? It was another lovely warm day yesterday. I have carried on doing the Joe Wickes workout each morning and followed this with another workout the last two days!

I made some scones for a cream tea in the garden. I'm not sure if I did the cream and jam the Devon or Cornwall way (I'm sure Miss Olver will let me know if it was the 'wrong' way !) but they were delicious! Before I whipped the cream, I had a mishap with the mixer - when I plugged it in, it was already on so the blades whizzed up the tea towel it was sitting on! (See picture below.)

I also planted some herb seeds I found in my garage. I wonder if they will grow. I will keep you posted! Our walk took us across the golf course which I can see from my bedroom window. Despite being right behind our house, it's the first time I have walked there and the views were lovely. We also spotted three deer as we walked.

If you like writing stories, I have put a lovely picture on the activities page with a story starter you might be inspired by.

I am working at school today so I am hoping to do a bit more tidying up in the classroom. I will let you know how I get on.

Have a good day,

Love from Mrs Bird x

Message from Mrs Lambert

Good morning Class 3!
I hope you all enjoyed the sunny weather yesterday ☀️. Mrs Miller and I enjoyed being out in the sunshine in the playground at school yesterday, watching the children playing on the balance bikes and making an obstacle course!
I also cleaned out the front trays in Class 3 and washed all the table boxes, scissors, rulers and the Beat That sheets!

Puzzle update - On Monday I completed the Victorian picture puzzle and am going to start a new one today of an ornate building called Salem House.
