We were very excited to meet 2 babies at the beginning of the month who were the brother and sister of two of the children in the class. We investigated the different items which are kept in a nappy bag and were shown how to change a baby's nappy. We also watched the other baby have a bath,which everyone enjoyed and was keen to help out with.
We have been learning about and looking for signs of Autumn this term and went for a walk around the village with the buddies to see what we could find. The children took photos of Autumn on their iPads too.
The weather didn't stop the children enjoying the mud kitchen and den building area this month.
The children have been learning about different food groups and healthy eating. They had the chance to try different fruit and vegetables and we then made a pictogram to show the children's preferences.
