Hello Class 2,

Welcome to our very own home learning webpage!

You can look on here every day for some new learning to do at home.

We are really going to miss seeing your smiley faces every morning but hopefully this will be a good opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your family and enjoy learning together.

Love from

Writing Aids

Dear Class 2,

We have heard that some of you are finding writing at home a little tricky. Therefore, we have made a folder of lots of bits to help you.

These are all resources you have seen before that we use in school in our “super spelling and writing folders”.

Remember to use your sound chart to help you. Does it look right? If not, keep trying again until you think you have spelt it right. Do this on a separate piece of paper or a whiteboard if you have one. If you are still stuck, ask an adult to for help.

Happy writing Class 2!

A message from Miss Newton

Dear Class 2,

Now you all know how much I love all things baking and cooking therefore I've decided to create a little folder of easy recipes you can make at home. You don't have to take part but if you do please send me your pictures.

I will add to it regularly so keep an eye out for new recipes. You can send me recipes you think everyone should make.

Maybe we can create a future Great British Bake Off winner!

Love From Miss Newton

A message from Mrs Miller

Hello Class 2! I hope you are all enjoying all of your home learning so far. I am very happy to see so many people sharing all of their hard work with us in their emails to the teachers.

I thought I might start setting a little fun challenge every so often for you to have a go at if you like. Perhaps you can email me back if you choose to do it. I would love to hear if you enjoyed it and if you have any suggestions for a different challenge.

My third challenge is a photography challenge!

When the Miller family were out walking recently, we saw a tree that looked a bit strange. It had fallen over and landed on a fence and things had started growing over and around it. We decided that it looked very much like a giraffe with a long neck and its head.

Have a look at the photograph. What do you think it looks like?

My challenge for you is to find something in nature that you think looks like something else. It might be a cloud, or a flower or something similar. Take a photo and send it to me, telling me what it reminds you of and why.

I look forward to hearing from you again class 2. Have fun and get snapping! Xx

Class 2 Photo Gallery

Hello Class 2,

We are so proud of everything you have been doing at home we wanted to share it. You are super stars and each and everyone of you deserves a hundred gold coins.

Thank you so much for all the effort you have been putting into your learning. Also a big thank you to mums, dads, family members, friends and carers for supporting your children through this time and their learning.

We will update it as often as we can, keep an eye out for your work, adventures and art.

Please do look at our teacher gallery, it will keep you updated on what we have been doing as well during this time including Mrs Pilgrim - she has left a lovely message for you all on her page.

Take care and stay safe.
