A morning message

Good morning Class 3

We have nearly made it to the end of the week and also to the end of this half term. I can't decide if the time since we were in school together seems a long time ago or if the time has gone quickly!

A massive well done to you all for managing your home learning so well. I feel really proud of all the hard work you have been doing . I have seen so many amazing pieces of work and I know you are doing so much more than the work you send to me. A huge thank you to all the parents who have worked so hard to support you at home. This is not an easy job, particularly for everyone who is trying to work at home as well.

I am sure many of you have been missing your friends at school. I certainly have and I really miss seeing you all every day at school.

When we return after the half term break, things might be a little bit different as some of the Year R Year 1 and Year 6 children might be coming back into school. The Year groups returning is a decision made by the government, not by the teachers in school. If that happens, I will be working in school every day as I will have to teach all the key worker children. I will do my very best to continue adding your home learning as it is so important for me that I am supporting my class at home. However, sadly, I won't have as much time so I might not be able to reply to messages very quickly.

I hope you all have a lovely half term break. I won't be adding any home learning as I am sure you are all looking forward to a lovely break. I may put a few suggested activities on the website that you could dip into if you would like to.

Wishing you and your family a relaxing and enjoyable week.

Love from Mrs Bird xxx

Message from Mrs Lambert

Hi Class 3! 🙋‍♀️
It’s the end of another week and it’s bank holiday and half term next week. I hope it stays sunny! ☀️

Yesterday we went to Lymington to visit Mr Lambert’s parents and had a picnic in their garden. It was so lovely to see them face to face at last. Have any of you seen your grandparents? Tomorrow I am going to see my sister and for a walk and she’s bringing a special birthday picnic For me as it’s my birthday next week. I really miss her so I’m very much looking forward to seeing her 🥰.
🧩 Puzzle update - I got the water part all finished yesterday and started on the buildings. I’m hoping to get quite a bit more done over the long weekend.
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend

Love from Mrs Lambert xx
