Can I answer questions about a newspaper article?

I read this news report about a robotic vacuum cleaner that made a dash for escape from a hotel this weekend! I couldn't help but imagine the adventures that this naughty robot might have encountered on it's journey! So I thought this would be a good starting point for some story writing this week.
