We are required to publish the results of all of the most recent performance from the most recent statutory assessments. Due to the COVID school closure between March and July 2020 and the further implications across the 2020/2021 academic year, the DfE cancelled all primary statutory assessments and associated reporting for 2020 and 2021. There is therefore no data for these years and the most recent performance data, published below, relates to the academic year ending in July 2019.
Please find below a summary of Pupil performance in Statutory Testing and Reporting for 2019 at the end of Year R (EYFS), Year 1 (Phonics) Year 2 (End of KS1) and Year 6 (End of KS2 Tests):
You will notice the extremely high (by comparison with national averages) results in statutory testing for our year 6 children as they leave our school. 100% of the cohort achieved the required standard in the statutory tests within Reading, Maths and ENglish Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling. 90% reached the standard in all of the combined subjects of Reading, Writing and Maths.
These results have been achieved not through preparation for the tests but through strong learning across the curriculum throughout the school. As these children have have been in Year 6 they have still enjoyed topic learning across the curriculum (eg History, Art, music, PE, Science, residential visits, sporting competitions etc) just as they did in other year groups and it is as a direct result of this deep learning they have achieved that they were able to apply their knowledge and understanding to the formal testing, when it occurred.
