Today is the last day of the summer term and tomorrow you start your summer holidays! I wonder what you will get up to? I want to say a very big WELL DONE to all of you (children and parents) for all of the fantastic learning you have been doing at home. I know that it has sometimes felt hard and I know that you have missed being in school with your friends and teachers. Well done for persevering and staying positive. We feel very proud of you all! We have really missed seeing you and we can’t wait to welcome you back to school in September.
Try and keep a little bit of home learning going all the way through the holidays. Look out for a new folder on our Class 2 page with some learning packs, a list of good websites and online games to play. It is also really important to try and read a little bit every day!
I hope you have a really fun, relaxing summer holiday!
Love from Mrs Sothcott xx
You could keep up your daily phonics lessons during the summer holidays! Below is your lesson for today and then underneath is the link to the website with a list of all of the phonics lessons in order.
Today you can complete some more activities in your summer maths activity booklet (from yesterday). I have attached them all again below:
Here is a KS1 Summer Activity booklet. It has lots of fun, summer activities inside! You could start it today and then carry on completing activities over the summer holidays. Have fun!
You have been working so hard at home that you deserve a treat! Gather some of your favourite snacks, make a comfy den and choose a movie to watch. At the weekend, I watched Paddington Bear with Finley and Lewis! I wonder which film you will choose? I hope you have a nice, relaxing afternoon!
