Monday 13th April

Good morning Class Four,

I hope you had a lovely Easter day yesterday and did lots of fun things with your family, including eating yummy chocolate!! I had a really nice day. I went out for a long run in the morning, I ran along the River Itchen all the way to Shawford and then back again. It was so beautiful running along the river, very peaceful, lots of wildlife and some stunning views. Then I mowed the lawn and tidied the garden and cleaned the house. Later in the morning, Mrs Steele dropped off some mini eggs on my doorstep as a surprise, so now I have lots of chocolate to keep me going! In the evening I had a nice long phone call with my Mum and then my Dad, it's so good being able to talk to them where I can't see them.

Today the weather looks a bit colder and windier, but I think it's still meant to be sunny. I'm off on a walk this morning as my legs are a bit tired after the long run yesterday. But then back in time for PE with Joe!

Have a great day.

Love Miss Olver x

Activity 1

Mrs Kimble has emailed me to say that the next article for the Upham Update is due this Friday, so I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in writing one for me? Tamara wrote a fantastic one for me a couple of weeks ago about home learning during lockdown which I have emailed to the Bishops Waltham Parish News ready for publishing. I wondered if someone might want to write one about what it has been like during the Easter holidays during lockdown? Perhaps talking about some of the things you have had to do differently this year for Easter. What have you been up to? How have you been feeling? If you are interested in doing this, please can you email it to me by Thursday so I can check and edit it ready to send to Mrs Kimble on Friday?
Thank you very much Class Four smiley
