Can I explain why the Roman army was so successful?

 

We will be thinking about the Roman army for the next couple of weeks. Today we are going to focus on the weapons and armour the Roman soldiers had. Read the information on the bbc bitesize website by clicking on the link below. Focus on the interactive diagram of the Roman soldier. Then there is some more information about soldiers on the Powerpoint.

Your task is to label a diagram of a Roman soldier to show the purpose of their weapons, uniform and armour.
