Can I convert length using metres and centimetres?
The main maths fact for this lesson is that 1m = 100cm
To convert m to cm multiply by 100 Example 4m = 4x100 = 400cm
To convert cm to m divide by 100 Example 600cm = 600÷100 = 6m
380 cm = 3m 80cm
