Spelling sentences 8.9.23 Test 15.9.23

If the root word ends in e, remove the final e and add –ing

If the word ends in short vowel consonant, double the last consonant.

Jumping, running and skipping are good ways to get fitter.

This week the children will bring home a list of words they have misspelt either from the spelling sentence tests, or from words in their own writing.
