Early morning

Good morning Class 3,

I filmed a short clip at the end of the day yesterday while I was still at school as it was snowing and looking like it was starting to settle. It did snow on and off all day, but the snowflakes were so tiny it didn't seem to build up at all however my car had a light dusting of snow when I left at the end of the day.

There is a tiny bit more snow this morning, in fact my road was completely white when I set off for school this morning, but sadly not enough snow for building a snowman!!

This afternoon, you will have a go at making another Roman recipe, libum that Miss Newton has told me is like a steamed pudding. I haven't made it yet but she says it tastes really nice.

I hope you managed to have a go at the skipping challenge yesterday. Ella did a record breaking 92 skips in 1 minute! I wonder if she will beat that today or anyone else managed anywhere near that number !? I know I wouldn't be able to do that many ! Today's physical challenge is the side plank which is particularly tricky. I would try doing it twice, once on each side.

I hope you managed to find out a lot about your chosen aspect of Roman life. I know Rosie C and Thomas made a fantastic start with their research as they both emailed to show me the notes they had made. Today you are going to start making your fact page or Powerpoint presentation. Remember you have another lesson tomorrow to continue with this work.

Have a lovely day everyone,

Love from Mrs Bird xx
