Morning message

Good morning Class 3

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Perhaps you visited some friends? 

I had my first overnight stay on our boat for many months. The weather was not very nice at all on Saturday and we were thinking we were a bit unwise to stay on the boat!! But despite the rain and wind, we had a nice day. My Mum and Dad joined us and we  spent the day catching up. Elliot came down after work to join us and we all had our evening meal together.

The wind continued to howl round all night but actually it feels very cosy in the boat when it is rainy and windy outside! 

The next morning was much nicer - I awoke to blue sky and sunshine. It was still very windy so we couldn't leave our marina berth but I didn't mind. Breakfast on board tastes so nice !! 

When I got home, we did a couple of long Facetime chats with friends. We can now start making some plans to meet up with people we haven't seen for ages which is nice.
