Good Morning!
Have you had a look at PE Dave’s section of the website recently? He has uploaded another PE skills video for you to try and some more challenges too. Exercise is so good for you. It helps keep you fit and healthy and also gives you more energy for learning! It’s a great way to start your day. We are still doing PE with Joe Wicks every morning at 9am. We like to save Dave’s PE lesson for the weekend!
Mr Sothcott managed to get a good photo of our butterflies while I was at school yesterday. Look carefully, you can see what colour their wings are now!
I hope you have a good day today!

Today we are editing and improving work. Finish your writing if you haven't already.
Yr 1 - check you have spelled the high frequency words correctly. If you aren't sure what they are, look at your phonics work from last week. You coloured the fish with words on, use that sheet.
Yr 2 - check you have spelled any word with o or oo in correctly.
Year 1
Today we are moving onto a different kind of measuring: capacity and volume. Follow the link to the White Rose website and select Week 1, Lesson 4: Introduce Capacity and Volume. First watch the video, then try the activity.
When we are learning about measure, it is important that we practise reading different scales accurately. We are going to practice this today! There are two different worksheets below for you to have a go at.
Last week you did your design for your pop up information page. Today I would like you to start making it! You will be carrying on with this next week so you don’t need to spend too long on it today. I would like you concentrate today on making the moving part of your page. Then next week you can add information, pictures and more details. Think about the following:
1. Which materials and tools do you need to make the moving part?
2. How will the part move? What mechanism will you use?
Remember to look back at your design sheet from last week. You need to think about how the moving part will fit in with the rest of the page.
Good luck!
