Wednesday 24th June

This will be my last few days at Upham Primary. You have beautiful children with kind hearts, it has been a delight to get to know them. I will miss seeing their smiling faces in class, and from the emails you send keeping the teachers up to date on the fun things you are doing during lockdown.

Thank you for your kind emails and good wishes.

Miss Renno

Good Morning Class 2!

I hope you are having a good week. It looks like it's going to be a hot and sunny day today so make sure you get out and enjoy the sun but remember those sun hats and sun cream and drink lots of water! It's my first day back at Upham today and I'm really looking forward to teaching you all again! Alice has her first day at nursery today so I expect she'll be playing lots outside too!

Love Mrs Pilgrim

For the next few weeks we will be learning some French. Some of you may already know some French from holidays so if you would like to send me videos of you speaking any French you know already that would be lovely.  This week we will be learning how to say "What is your name?" and "My name is...".  Please watch this video, which will teach you how to say these sentences:

Now have a go at this worksheet. You will see some characters from CBeebies programmes on your sheet and under each picture you have the start of a sentence; je m'appelle.  You then need to finish the sentence with the character's name. There is also a short challenge afterwards.

Bon courage!
