So, have you done any stretches, like we used to do after assembly on a Friday? Do some now.
Morning Job
We are going to have a quick practise telling the time. Find a clock with hands on - can you tell an o'clock time? A half past, and quarter past and quarter to the hour? Yr 2 Can you tell any more times? What time is it now?
English
Today we are reading and answering questions about what we have read.
I have chosen an information text about beach habitats.
There are three levels of difficulty. If you are Yr 1 choose the first sheet, if you are Yr 2 choose either the second or the third.
How did you get on with yesterday’s lesson introducing mass and weight? I’m sure you are now confident at using the words heavier, lighter, heaviest, lightest!
Today you are going to learn how to measure mass. Click on the link below to the White Rose year 1 maths website. Select Week 1 and find Lesson 2: Measure Mass. First, watch the video and then have a go at the activity.
Today you are going to have a go at some more measuring length challenges. Click on the first document below. There are three cards each with some different questions on. Start with the first one and see how many you can work through. Use your maths book to record all your workings! The left hand side of each card has some guidance for grown ups. This will give you some ideas for how to support and question your child. The second document is an answer sheet so you can check your own answers when you have finished.

Look at this sheet, we have talked about it before, do you recognise it? You need to label the continents and any of the seas you know. Label the UK on the map too.
