The Hall

The hall is in the centre of the school and is a shared space used for all the events where we want to gather the whole school. Our daily collective worships happen here, as well as any other events. This is also where the children have lunch together. We deliberately mix up older children and younger children so that the youngest children learn table manners and how to interact from their buddy role-models. This makes lunchtime an important, communicative time of the day.

The hall is also used for PE sessions and equipment will be used, such as the folding wall bars and ropes. After school clubs, such as Yoga, and our before-school breakfast club also use this space. Classes will also use the hall if they just need a bit more space for an activity, such as Class 3 below for their guitar lessons together:
