It has been extremely hot over the last few days. At playtimes they have been encouraged to stay in the shade and most have enjoyed sitting and chatting under trees. For those still eager to run around and play football we ensured ‘shade breaks’ where the balls were removed so they could calm down. Of course, the main problem with the heat is that everyone is a little more uncomfortable, a bit less resilient, has less patience and finds it harder to regulate to listen and sit.
