Road Safety

Yesterday our team of Badgers JRSOs (Junior Road Safety Officers) delivered an assembly they had planned to the whole school to give some messages about road safety. They used puppets as well as visual Powerpoint materials to present. They discussed how to cross roads safely, how to look out for hazards and also how to make sure you are seen. As part of this work they would like to do a non-uniform day to raise awareness which we are going to hold next Friday. Children do not need to bring any money or donations

for this, it’s just for fun, but bright, reflective colours would be great. Please note this is not the right occasion for fancy dress – that will come in Spring II for those children who like costumes with the annual World Book Day dressing up fun first week in March.
