Squirrels Class Trip

Children in Squirrels Class (Y1&2) enjoyed their trip this week to SeaCity museum in Southampton to learn about the Titanic. They have been learning about this in history sessions over the last few weeks but by exploring through exhibits and working with a historian in workshops, they got to understand how life was different during this moment in the past. Trips enable learning to come alive and are hugely motivational for their learning, the experiences from this trip will be used in history, English and also art, as demonstrated by Jude’s lovely collage of the Titanic made yesterday.
