Our Year 6 had a nice afternoon this week enjoying some forest school! This was a trip down memory lane for them as when they were in Year R they had some forest school experience because Tom Gregory (parent of a Year 6) was doing his training and we benefited from this ‘free’ provision. Tom was eager to give the children a last opportunity to celebrate their time at Upham, to finish their journey through the school as they started. They enjoyed doing the same activities – the monster hunts, the den building and exploring the undergrowth! Our thanks to Tom for arranging, to Ian Small & John Wild who also supported and especially to Jane Perrott who kindly allowed us to use her land.
