Snow and ice

There was huge excitement earlier in the week when it snowed. The children enjoyed running around outside whilst flakes came down; all assuming deep snow drifts would soon form. Of course they didn’t but the light flurry we had later that evening lasted for a few days and was still a point of stimulus and interest for many. Class 1 in particular have also been exploring ice and have left containers out overnight to see what shapes the water freezes into!
