A few words from the headteacher ...

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter and enjoyed the additional opportunities for outside social contact. The children have returned with lots of news to share and so many are sporting new haircuts – I’m sure the reopening of hairdressers has been a relief for many of you (I have coped quite well!)

What a wonderful week of weather to welcome us back, blue skies and some warmth in the sunshine. Of course the children now all think that summer is here. It does give us all a sense of optimism and positivity for the summer term. I hope that as the term progresses the DfE will review it’s guidance to schools so we can start to plan if events might make a return – such as sports day. It’s too early to know yet but rest assured that if the regulations allow, we will try to provide these sorts of events, even if we have to heavily modify.
