We had Mrs Faulkner in last week with Class 1 and this week we had Mr Faulkner, who is a police officer, visiting the class. He shared a little about what modern policing looks like – including an exciting speedboat clip to show the breadth of police operation. Of course trying on pieces of uniform was the highlight and important too – children are often frightened of police officers and this sort of interaction helps build more positive awareness. Thanks to Mr Faulkner for giving up his time and coming in!
