We started the week with Armistice Day. I am pleased to say the children engaged with this more solemn moment really well – everyone observed the 11am silence perfectly and gave some thought to people now and in the past who have protected our freedoms and way of life. Class 4 also explored these themes deeper, leading to some very thoughtful and expressive poetry writing.
