As is often the case, as a half term comes to a close the topics children have been learning about also are drawn together. Class 1 have released the last of their froglets, having watched them grow from tadpoles whilst Class 2 have finished their plant sketching. Class 3 have been busy compiling data following their plant growth experiments – coke appears to have helped the plants growth though orange juice was less successful. Class 4 have used circuit components to create light sources, with some for lighthouses, nightlights and even a pet rabbit light. Curriculum time for this was blocked over a few days to really allow children to solve problems and sustain concentration.
